Inverter AC:

There are different types on Inverter ACs like:

  • DC Inverter AC - Converts AC to DC current and then back into AC current. Due to variable frequency, the compressor motor is able to work at variable speed and hence is more efficient that conventional non-inverter or fixed speed ACS.
  • Inverter Heat Pump - It is an inverter AC which pumps out over 3 times more energy than the traditional heat pumps. It is mainly used in Acs which come with both hot and cold feature
  • 3D Inverter AC - It is an inverter AC which has vents on the side that helps in removing hot air and calling the room faster
  • Multi Inverter (Multi Split) - It is an inverter AC which is used in ACs which support different capacity and style indoor units for one single outdoor unit

Hot and Cold

Hot and Cold: There is only one motor for the fans blowing through the hot coils and cold coils. However, in split system air conditioning, you have two separate motors for the two fans. While this may seem to be a waste of energy, it also means that it is possible to have a different motor speed for the air handling or cooling unit. Thus, in the split system, the air handling motor has a variable speed and usually operates at a lower speed to save on energy costs. The speed can also be adjusted by the user to achieve the desired environment. A final advantage is the ability of a split system to serve as both an air conditioner in the summer months and a heater in the winter. This is accomplished by switching functions at the outside compressor which then functions as a heat pump. Generally, cassettes are provide less heat than is necessary, but they are a useful addition to other systems
